Our benchmark
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the standard behind the European accessibility law (EN 301 549). We test with the keyboard, at 360 pixels wide and at 200 % zoom.
What we do
Every page has a clear structure with headings, a link to jump straight to the content, a visible focus for keyboard users, labelled fields with error messages next to the field itself, enough colour contrast in both the light and dark themes, and respect for your device’s ‘reduce motion’ setting. Results, contrast figures and ‘copied’ are announced. Every colour is also shown as a code, never only as a swatch.
Reading aids
With the button showing a little figure at the top of every page, you choose larger text, more space between lines and letters, a readable font, more contrast, underlined links, less motion or a reading guide. Your choice is saved on your device.
What isn’t perfect yet
Anything you can drag can also be done with buttons: open an image with ‘Open image’ or ‘Choose a file’. Your browser’s colour picker is an extra: you can also type any colour. Previews of images and gradients are pictures; what’s in them you can read in the code and figures next to them. The simulated colour blindness is by definition a picture, so it remains an aid for sighted users.
